Rehearse Before Launch
We thoroughly test every migration on a staging site using a copy of your real data, so timing is confirmed and issues surface where they’re safe to fix, instead of on launch day.
Migration & Deployment
A migration done properly protects what you’ve already built. We map your content, URLs and rankings before we touch anything, then move it all across in a structured, zero-surprises process.
A website migration shouldn’t mean starting from zero. We identify what’s already working on your current site, from content and URLs to search rankings and data, and plan the move to protect it.
No last-minute surprises. Every website migration we run follows three principles: rehearse the move on staging, prepare your team to take over and check everything once the site is live.
We thoroughly test every migration on a staging site using a copy of your real data, so timing is confirmed and issues surface where they’re safe to fix, instead of on launch day.
Handing over a manual isn’t a handover. We train your editors, administrators and developers on their own workflows, so the new platform sticks long after launch.
Once the site is live, we submit updated sitemaps, test redirects and scan for broken links or missing pages, so any issues are caught and fixed early.
Whether you’re stuck on unsupported technology, outgrowing your CMS or ready to launch something new, every website migration we run is shaped around where you’re starting from.
An ageing website on unsupported technology is a risk, not just an inconvenience. If security updates have stopped and every fix takes longer, it’s time to move to a modern, supported platform.
Do pages load slowly, updates feel like a chore or your CMS struggle with what the business needs now? Whether you’re moving to another CMS or a fully custom build, we plan the switch around your content and team.
Built and tested is only half the job. Developed by your team or another agency? We handle the end-to-end deployment, from server setup and DNS to SSL certificates, so it goes live without a hitch.

Rankings can change during a migration. We reduce avoidable losses by keeping valuable URLs where practical, redirecting changed URLs to relevant pages and retaining useful content. Checks after launch help identify missed pages and indexing issues, but rankings cannot be guaranteed.
Not necessarily. Rebuilding a website or changing its platform does not automatically require a new domain. We check your access and proposed setup first, then agree which addresses can stay and which need redirects.
Often, yes, until an agreed content freeze before the final transfer. We confirm how new changes will be carried across and when publishing needs to pause. The timing depends on the old and new systems and the transfer method.
We agree what to keep, update or remove before the move. Useful pages, files and links are included in the transfer plan. Changed addresses are mapped to relevant destinations so visitors are not sent to unrelated pages.
Not always. We assess email and hosting separately from the website. They can move together or stay with the existing providers, depending on access, current services and the setup agreed for your project.
We estimate the migration after reviewing the website and available data. The number of URLs, data quality, manual work and approval process determine the preparation needed. We agree the final transfer window separately from the wider rebuild.
